Budget and Funding

The Subcommittee relies entirely on the contributions by the experts and their SAIs who have agreed to cover the costs of the experts. The Project Secretariat is continuously approaching external parties, seeking external funds.

The FAS Secretariat has for the development work during 2004-2010 received funding from the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Application for funding from the World Bank for 2011 has been issued and will hopefully be approved.

Funds received for the development work have covered, among other things, the costs for Reference Panel meetings, certain FAS meeting expenses, translations of standards and guidelines to the official INTOSAI languages, printing and distributing of approved guidelines.
