ISSAI Awareness Raising

In accordance with the PSC ISSAI Awareness-raising Strategy that was agreed on the PSC Steering Committee meeting in Copenhagen in 2010, an ISSAI Awareness-raising task force has been established and made responsible for the implementation of the strategy.

As part of the strategy, the PSC will develop various material to create awareness of the ISSAIs and how best to implement them. All material developed by the PSC so far is available from this website.

Also awareness-raising material developed by our colleagues in INTOSAI will be posted under the heading "Awareness-raising material".

ISSAI Roll-Out Model

Implementation of the ISSAI framework is one of INTOSAI's key priorities in its strategic plan for 2011-2016.

How the SAIs want to implement the ISSAI framework is up to the individual SAI, but the chairs of Goal 1 and Goal 2 and the IDI have agreed on the ISSAI Roll-Out Model to ensure the momentum of the current awareness-raising activities.

The roll-out model describes the three stages of ISSAI implementation and defines the roles and responsibilities of the PSC, the CBC and the IDI. The ISSAI Roll-Out Model was presented to and approved by the INTOSAI Governing Board in October 2011.
