PSC

The INTOSAI Strategic Plan, as approved by INCOSAI XVIII, includes the creation of a Professional Standards Committee (PSC) intended to encompass the work of the current Committee on Accounting and Reporting, the Committee on Auditing Standards and the Internal Control Standards Committee. At the extraordinary INTOSAI Governing Board meeting on March 18, 2005 in Budapest, the Auditor General of Denmark Mr. Henrik Otbo was elected as Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee.

The around 70 members of the PSC convene every third year at the International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI). The next congress will take place in 2010 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
